Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize the upcoming bout.
Former twice unified boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's greatest financial successes, consistently making substantial earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly going ahead.
